Here is a test for the shifters. Build a servitor under the model you hold now, give it a name, a shelf and a petty job like finding you parking or stopping the kettle boiling dry, then go and convert hard to whatever paradigm has the best hats this month. Now watch the thing. If it keeps finding parking under your new rules, you never left, you repainted the house. If it sulks, goes feral, starts finding you the WRONG parking on purpose, something actually moved. I say a shift is deep exactly as far as your old creation objects to it, and a shift that nothing you built ever complains about is the cowardly kind. Build it tonight, shift tomorrow, and report what the kettle did. Bananas.
