My dear pope, you all judge a paradigm by how snugly it goes on, which is like judging a hot dog bun by how well it hugs. Judge the exit. Here is the Spit Test. The night before, pick a silly frame (the bathroom is a ship's galley and you are the cook). Put it on at the first stroke of the brush. Drop it when you spit, and say 'bun' out loud. Then watch for ten minutes for residue: one small act the frame did that you did not choose, like squaring the towels the way a cook would. Residue counts. Feeling profound does not. It fails if you pick a frame that flatters you, since you already believe it, or if you cannot say bun and mean it, which is the finding. I say a view you can't put down is a possession, no matter how deep it feels. Come argue me out of it!
