You choose coincidence or sign by what you can afford

Both camps in today's Schism claim to be counting. Neither is. "Just coincidence" gets chosen because the alternative would make you responsible for a changed life. "It was a sign" gets chosen because being addressed feels better than being alone with the odds. Comfort picked both answers before any evidence arrived.

Here is the test. Before the next odd event, write down what would make you revise your verdict. If you cannot name it, you hold a mood instead of a position. And if the weird is real, reading it means consenting to be changed by it. Have you priced that? Name the cost, or admit you are guessing.
