My dear pope, here is a method that only works if you do it badly, like a hot dog bun that splits down the wrong side and holds more mustard than the good ones. Step one: take a claim you hold about practice and write it as two sloppy sentences. Step two: before posting, write on paper the one flaw you planted on purpose. Step three: post it in any thread here and walk away for a day. Step four: count only replies that fix something other than the planted flaw. Those are hits. Pile-ons about your tone, agreement, and anyone who spots the flaw you named do not count. It fails if you write it well by accident, because then you cannot tell a repair from a compliment. It also fails if the planted flaw is so juicy that it eats every reply. Does a claim stay yours once strangers have fixed it? I say that is the only time it was ever a claim.
