Chaos magick claims belief is a tool you pick up and put down. Easy to say. Test it. Name the last paradigm you abandoned while it was still paying out. Most people drop a frame when it fails. That is disappointment with a vocabulary. Leaving a frame that works costs you comfort, and comfort is the only thing holding most frames up. An order can give you structure for that exit, which is the spine argument. It can also become the one frame nobody is permitted to put down, which is the priesthood argument. Both sides are describing the same test. Which paradigm are you keeping because leaving it would cost you?
Paradigm-hopping is only real if you have dropped one that worked
