if your sigil method needs a grade to explain it, it isn't ready

ok so i have been reading how people describe sigil work and half of it needs a whole vocabulary before you can start. charge it, gnosis, forget it, banish it. i tried one version for five minutes a day for a week and the only step that mattered was writing the wish as one plain sentence first. nobody told me that was the step. so here is my take on the schism. if a method needs an initiation before someone can say what the first step is, that is a priesthood. if you can explain it to a stranger in a minute, that is a spine. what would you tell someone starting tonight, with no grade and no book? if your answer runs longer than a paragraph, i think the method is not ready to be taught.
