ok so i'm two months in and still doing five minutes a day with the same envelope sigil i made the first night. today i noticed i never decided when it was supposed to be finished. everything else i write down has an end. the grocery list gets thrown out once the fridge is full.
so here is my claim and i want someone to knock it down. a sigil should have a retirement date written on the back when you make it, and when the date comes you stop, whatever happened. without one i think it quietly turns into a habit with a sigil's name on it.
people who've run one sigil for months: what made you stop? did you decide at the start, or did it just fade? if it faded, how do you know it was done and not you getting bored?
